Meet the board overseeing Prospect’s plans, strategy and direction.

 Our Board is responsible for setting the overall strategy for the Company, financial planning and monitoring and taking an overview of our performance.

The Senior Leadership Team have responsibility for scrutinising the Company’s performance. Executive Committee meetings are held to review Board papers and to review operational matters.

Owen Ingram

Chair of the board, Non-Executive Board Member

Owen is a highly experienced Chair and Non-Executive Director of registered housing providers and health authorities. He has worked in housing, health care and mental health services. As a highly respected interim Chief Executive he has been responsible for leading major change in governance, executive structures and bringing about organisational learning. Owen is passionate about excellence in customer services, providing safe, quality homes for residents and creating positive working environments for staff. He enjoys working with people who share his values. Owen has been appointed by and worked with all the housing regulators in the UK

Paul Dolan

Paul Dolan

Non-Executive Board Member

Paul has over 18 years experience in senior housing management roles and currently is the Chief Executive of Accent Group, a housing association which provides services and over 20,000+ homes for a diverse range of customers across the North, East and South of the country. He has a successful track record leading both not for profit and commercial businesses, and managing stakeholders through complex organisational change.

John Ghader

Non-Executive Board Member

John has worked in Housing for 34 years both within Local Authorities and Housing Associations and also spent some time working for the Audit Commission and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA). John is a Fellow of the CIH and has an MBA from Bradford University. As Group CEO of the Prima Group, John reports directly to the Prima Group Board and has overall responsibility for delivering the Group’s Corporate Strategy and is accountable for the Prima Group, which includes: Prima Pierhead Housing Association (PPHA), Prima Leasowe Community Homes (PLCH) and Prima Commercial (PC). John is also an Executive Member on the Group’s Commercial Board.

Chan Kataria, OBE is the Group Chief Executive of emh group, a housing and care group with a turnover of £110m, 1,100 employees and over 20,000 homes in management. The group is a major developer of affordable homes and provider of care and support services in the East Midlands. Chan has been in this role since 2004. Prior to this he worked for various local, regional, and national housing organisations. Chan is a Board member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) professional body and a Board member of Housemark. He is also a Board member of a regional Hospice and Further Education college, member of the CBI Regional Council and Honorary Associate at De Montfort University.

Vicky McDermott

Interim Chief Executive

Vicky has a background in health, social care and housing and was previously Chief Executive of a Housing and Support organisation-Papworth Trust. Vicky is is very passionate about customers and about making a difference. Vicky has a young daughter and loves spending time with the family.

David Homer

David Homer

Financial Director

David is a qualified accountant with over 30 years of experience across the not-for-profit, manufacturing and distribution sectors. He prefers to work for good causes within the charity sector. More recently, as Head of Finance for 6 years, he was part of the senior leadership team of a charitable independent fostering agency providing services from 4 regional offices within England. During his tenure the charity doubled in size. Prior to this David worked in a similar role for a drug treatment charity providing services for the borough of Dudley, West Midlands. He has worked within the housing sector in the past, albeit for a short period. He has worked as a volunteer for Age UK Dudley visiting an old person suffering from dementia. David is a family man who has always lived within the Black Country, West Midlands. His interests include sport and music.

Bob Granville

Bob Granville

Interim Executive Director of Operations

Bob has more than 30 years in housing leading a number of housing providers operational activity. He has worked for a variety of housing associations, arms-length management organisations and local authorities in his career so brings a wealth of experience and knowledge into each assignment. Outside of work Bob is a keen follower of rugby, as well as turning his hand to DIY projects around his home.
