We change lives

Providing a roof over your head is just the start, but there’s more to it than that! From there we work with individuals to offer tailored support, develop life skills and bring about positive change.

That’s quite a claim… but this is how we do it…

We ensure our shared accommodation is fully furnished, safe and secure, refurbished and maintained to a high standard, with regular monitoring and inspections.

We provide a variety of different types of support and work alongside many specialist agencies to ensure a high quality of support is provided by either Prospect Housing or by our partners.

We engage our residents to be involved in projects that inspire them, giving them the tools to fulfill their potential and make positive changes to independence living

Our support is individually tailored to address issues that are a barrier to moving into independence. Regularly monitored and quality reviewed, we expect consistently high standards of support delivery.

Our properties are regularly inspected and monitored so that they remain safe and in good condition. We work to raise the standard of properties in the portfolio by demanding more from our landlords.

We work in partnership with Managing Agents and stakeholders to develop services that deliver real change to peoples lives.  We know that we can’t tackle every issue on our own, so encourage working alongside organisations that share our passion.

It is important that we deal with some of the main presenting issues of the residents we work with; we have developed services that deliver specialist support such as recovery from substance misuse, mental health and learning disability.

We are continuing to develop projects that contribute added value to our core services.  Understanding that issues can be complex, we are using creative projects to address issues such as anxiety or by helping develop life-skills.

Understanding the causes of homelessness and how we can work on areas of prevention is an important part of our strategic vision.  We are supporting research into the sector and how we can improve citizen pathways.
